This SmartShelter at Fulton Hogan’s Parkburn Quarry near Cromwell was completed in November 2022 and measures 30m wide x 12.2m long. The shelter is mounted to 40ft shipping containers on each side and the rear.
It is used to keep bulk aggregates out of the elements to minimise moisture levels in the product.
