What is a warehouse shed?

A warehouse shed is an umbrella term that describes any structure designed to house assets, be they raw materials or manufactured goods. Warehouse sheds are designed in a way that maximises the efficiency of handling the assets held within, as large amounts of goods and materials will need to be unloaded, stored, accessed and dispatched.

Warehouse sheds generally have large access points to allow goods to easily flow in and out, and may feature internal configurations for the efficient storage of materials. They are most commonly built as simple steel constructions on concrete bases.
