How much room do pigs need in their shelter?

It is recommended that you allow 5-6m² of space per pig if you house them in an enclosed space. We can help you to work out your space requirements and ensure that your pigs are kept as comfortable, healthy and productive as possible.

Do pig sheds need good ventilation?

Ventilation is a vital feature in any pig shed. Maintaining the right temperature will keep the pigs happy and comfortable while allowing them to grow faster and be more productive. Ventilation also reduces the contraction and spread of airborne and respiratory disease, meaning you’ll spend less on veterinary bills.
