ASK US A QUESTION ABOUT OUR TEMPORARY SHELTERS

What is the minimum size for a temporary shelter?

The smallest temporary structure that SmartShelters can produce is 6m x 6m. Beyond those measurements we have a complete range of standard sizes, all the way up to 35m (pole-mount) or 40m (container-mount) spans, and lengths limited only by your imagination and the space you have available.

Who are our temporary shelters suited to?

Our temporary shelters are designed for commercial clients and are used for business and commercial purposes, most often on farms, building and mining sites, as temporary storage for roadworking crews, or for concerts, trade shows and community events.

We tend not to supply temporary shelters to private buyers or in instances of more private use, like as a carport or boat shelter, because the SmartShelters range has better-suited shelters for these types of applications.

How long does it take to install?

Given the levels of comfort and space that a SmartShelters temporary shelter offers, it can be easy to assume that it would take a long time to erect. But the truth is that the smart design of the shelter means that compared to similar permanent structures it is surprisingly quick and easy to install. The standard structure will take 2 people as little as a day to set up, giving you more time to enjoy the great outdoors.

    What is the delivery time?

A temporary shelter from our standard range will generally be shipped within a couple of days. If you require a custom designed and fabricated shelter, a delivery time of 4-6 weeks may apply.
