Mining, Quarrying & Bulk Storage.
A fast, effective answer to your Mining, Quarrying or Bulk Storage shelter requirements.
Smart Shelter Solutions
SmartShelters are well-known as the industry standard for relocatable and permanent shelter structures. Whether you require a small storage shelter, a
larger servicing bay or an extra wide span shelter for stockpiling material, we have a shelter that will suit your needs.
Tough, cost-effective shelters
We know that in mining and quarrying situations you can’t afford to have down time through equipment failure, and that’s why we insist on using heavy duty materials which comply with AS/NZS 1170.2:2011 requirements. With a Supergal galvanised framework made from structural-grade steel, and tough ripstop roof covers, SmartShelters structures have proven that they are tough enough to stand up to conditions across New Zealand, the Pacific, and world-wide.
Quick to install - easy to relocate
A special focus of the SmartShelters design is its simplicity to install and relocate. A medium-sized container mounted SmartShelter takes approximately two days to install, and only 2-3 personnel to do the job. SmartShelters kitsets come packed in convenient transport cradles for ease of freighting.
SmartShelters dedicated installation team are also available to take care of your installation requirements, saving you time and leaving your staff available
to focus of carrying out their primary duties. Our professional installers travel across the globe installing SmartShelters structures in a wide range
of conditions and applications. Talk to us today about your requirements.

A SmartShelters structure is a smart choice for you! Innovative design elements combine to make a SmartShelter an excellent structure to work under – your
staff won’t want anything else!
Do you need ultra-wide shelter? Standard SmartShelters widths extend out to a huge fifty metres wide, or talk to us about even wider spans which are available
on request! SmartShelters structures are totally clearspan, so you really do get the full advantage of the widths and height clearances available.
Huge range of mounting options
The most popular method of mounting a SmartShelters structure is on shipping containers – it’s a quick way to install your SmartShelter, the containers
form solid walls for extra security and durability, and it is easy to pack the kitset into one of the containers when the time comes to dismantle it.
The SmartShelters H-Series is an innovative system which provides you with the height clearance of double-layered containers, using only a single row.
For a sturdy subframe option that doesn’t take up much ground space, concrete blocks and concrete panels are an excellent option. We can work with you
and your concrete products supplier to design mounting beams to suit most options.
In a semi-permanent or permanent situation, galvanised steel or timber poles can be a very cost-effective way of mounting a SmartShelters structure. All
timber poles used by SmartShelters are H5-grade tanalised for maximum lifespan and strength.
SmartShelters are also available as totally freestanding structures, with their own ground connection subframe. The SmartShelters Dome Barn range is a
cost effective, simple option to install and relocate easily.
